Trombonist

I recently photographed students at an inner-city high school for an upcoming presentation. This kid playing the trombone is about as cool as cool can be.

Megan

I had the opportunity to photograph a tall, beautiful high school senior recently and we had a great time during our photo shoot. Megan has all the ingredients to make a top model, but she's focused on graduating from high school and moving on to college to study business administration. Best wishes, Megan!

Palm Springs Photo Festival 2010

This is my second year attending this great event in the desert. There's so much to learn and the opportunity to see other photographer's work is a cool way to be inspired. Throughout the week, there are workshops, seminars, contests, presentations, portfolio reviews and parties. It's an annual event, so if you missed it this time, put it on your calendar for 2011.

Opening reception at the Korakia Pensione.

Joel Meyerowitz, left and Jeff Dunas. Meyerowitz is a well-known photographer and author who was instrumental in getting color photography accepted as a valid medium and also photographed the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. Dunas is the director of the Palm Springs Photo Festival and a published fine art photographer.
