Palm Springs Photo Festival 2010
This is my second year attending this great event in the desert. There's so much to learn and the opportunity to see other photographer's work is a cool way to be inspired. Throughout the week, there are workshops, seminars, contests, presentations, portfolio reviews and parties. It's an annual event, so if you missed it this time, put it on your calendar for 2011.

Joel Meyerowitz, left and Jeff Dunas. Meyerowitz is a well-known photographer and author who was instrumental in getting color photography accepted as a valid medium and also photographed the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. Dunas is the director of the Palm Springs Photo Festival and a published fine art photographer.
