Fall Food & Wine Festival

It was with great pleasure that I photographed the annual Fall Food & Wine Festival in Pasadena last Sunday. It's an incredible fund raising event that draws large crowds (at $150 per person) to sample and enjoy tasty dishes from local restaurants and fine wine from different vendors. It's really a fun - and filling - experience!

Family Portraits

When her son died and her daughter-in-law could not care for the three young girls, Joanna did what any responsible and loving grandmother would do. . .she adopted her granddaughters! They are now a beautiful family and it was a pleasure to photograph them together for their first real portrait session.

Trash the Dress

Although I'm no longer shooting weddings, I received a request from my friends and wedding clients Lindsay and Rusty for a "Trash the Dress" session. This has become a popular photo shoot for brides & grooms to have some relaxed fun after the stress of a wedding day and not worry about getting the dress dirty. Lindsay and Rusty are the perfect subjects for this type of session because they're such a blast to begin with, and they brought along their good friend Annie and her wedding dress. We had a great time on a windy day in Long Beach and here are some of my favorite images.

Healthy School Lunch

After years of hearing how terrible school lunches have become, it's nice to see that there are some healthy options for schoolchildren. I photographed Thomas Edison Elementary in Glendale yesterday for their upcoming redesigned website.
