Pinhole Photography

Well, it may not be one of the best known "holidays", but today is Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day. A pinhole camera is one that focuses light without the use of a lens. Instead, a very small hole (pinhole) is made in a piece of material to use in place of a lens. The hole will allow light through to the film or digital sensor, creating an image. The website at www.pinholeday.com encourages people to make pinhole images today and upload them to the site to share with the world.
Happy Pinhole Photography Day!
